The Parish Council was formed in 1984 and at the time had one employee who worked from home. Now the Parish Council has its own office situated at Cromford House, Amber Drive, Langley Mill NG16 4BE. The Parish Council Office is open for visitors from Tuesday to Thursday between the hours of 9:30 am and 1:00 pm.
At other times staff are completing administrative tasks. Appointments to visit the office preferred to allow allocation of time.
The Parish Council is involved in many community events and initiatives including management of two allotment sites, providing festive lights, flowers and planters during the summer season, supporting local organisations with annual grant awards, consultation on planning applications including representation at Borough Planning Board Meetings etc.
Our Community Response Unit is now ready to take requests for assistance from members of the community who don’t have friends or family able to help them. Please follow the link below...
